Hands Cleaners Ltd are celebrating 50 glorious years providing Quality, Service and Value to a wide range of customers throughout the East Midlands. Our commitment to delivering guaranteed customer satisfaction to offices, factories, warehouses, schools and colleges to name but a few has deservedly placed us as the Region’s Leading Cleaning Team.
Hands Cleaners Ltd was formed in 1970, by Eddie and Bill Hargrave who operated a window cleaning business from a railway arch on Duns Lane in Leicester.

By 1980 the daily office cleaning side had developed, counting Walkers Crisps, Alliance & Leicester, the BUSM Company amongst many of our satisfied customers. We moved to premises on Humberstone Gate to accommodate offices, Training School for Hands Cleaners and a trade counter for Hands Janitorial Ltd on the ground floor.

On 4th October 1993 we were awarded our ISO9002, and we hold this certification proudly to this day (now known as the ISO9001:2015). We see this accreditation as playing a significant part of remaining such a successful company.
In 2013 we felt it was the right time to relocate to a more central area within the East Midlands and moved to a premises just off the M1 Junction 23. An ideal base to access, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Derby.

The company has grown every year by providing Quality, Value & Service to our customers and in our 50th year employ over 300 dedicated and loyal staff throughout the East Midlands. In fact our senior management team have over 135 years service between them within our Organisation.
