Sharpen Your Scissors with Tin Foil
Suffering from dull bladed scissors? Instead of throwing them away just have a scout around your kitchen and see if you have any kitchen foil. If you are in luck cut yourself a good length of sheet off and cut into it with your scissors. You can start by cutting straight lines down it, and then crumpling it up and cutting into it. The more you do the better it will sharpen your scissors.

Cleaning Stainless Steel Surfaces
Chances are if you have a newborn, you will have a bottle of baby oil lying around. If you do then give this little tip a try. Grab yourself a cloth (dry) and squeeze some baby oil onto it. Rub the oil over any stainless steel surface, such as kitchen or bathroom taps, cooker hood, cutlery, or any other greased up surface that has fingerprints or smudges. You will notice how good this oil can be in shining up a stainless steel surface.

Cleaning Your Microwave
One of the grimiest jobs in a kitchen is cleaning your microwave, especially if you have left it a while since the last clean. Well, we have a quick and easy tip. Fill a mug of water and squeeze half a lemon into it and then put the other half into the cup. Crank up your microwave to the highest setting and blitz it for around 2 minutes.
What happens in that couple of minutes is the lemon and water mix, to both add a nice smell to the microwave but to also make it easier to wipe off dirt and grime as the hot water will turn into steam inside your microwave.

How to Clean a Dirty Oven with a Bit of Magic!
At some time or another we will all get to that stage where an oven needs a deep clean. Many people who clean an oven will keep on top of it for a while but soon bad habits take over and after one spill, comes another spill and before you know it your oven is a black sticky, grimy mess that you just put off cleaning.
Whether its food that has spilled, popped, spat or melted inside your oven, after constant use that food can be a stubborn nightmare to remove.
What’s the answer to this problem? There is the lazy way which in some cases can actually work – this is to turn the heat of the oven to its highest setting and then leave it for 20 minutes. Anything inside the oven will essentially be incinerated and in theory should be wiped out easily. However, depending on how long it has been since the last clean and how old your oven is – this could have a negative effect!
